Student Scientists Start at a Young Age

The excitement and love of science burns within Anne Hutchinson students who had the ability to participate in the IBM Research Family Science Program this winter in Yorktown Heights and now continue to take classes online.IBM scientists teaches fourth grade students from Anne Hutchinson.

Fourth grade students from Eastchester gained a greater understanding of how science interacts with the world in which they live.

Eastchester Middle School Student Makes Music During Distance Learning

Staying at home away from friends and extended family members isn’t always easy, but one Eastchester Middle School student has found a way to use this time to hone his skills while bringing some joy to his neighborhood.

Eighth grader Ben Wien learned a demanding piano piece, Bach’s Prelude and Fugue No. 4 in C-sharp Minor, from Book 1 of the Well-Tempered Clavier. Ben takes his weekly piano lessons via Facetime.

Eastchester Students Rank in a National French Contest

Congratulations to several Eastchester Middle School students who earned awards in Le Grands Concours, a national event sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF).

Nearly 70,000 students in all 50 states participated in the 85th annual event where they were evaluated for their written, oral and listening comprehension skills.
