• Welcome to the Curriculum and Instruction Homepage

The Eastchester School District is committed to academic excellence while providing an educational experience that supports the development of a student's emotional, social, athletic, and civic self.  The District takes great pride in its outstanding instructional programs, talented and hardworking educators, support staff and administrators, and dedication to the children of our community. Our administrators, teachers, and staff put forth unwavering efforts to ensure that all children achieve academic, social, and emotional success during their time in our district.

Ultimately, all aspects of the Eastchester School District collaborate to support and advance the mission, "to provide a quality education in a safe, stable, and secure environment that fosters mutual respect, promotes the uniqueness of the individual, provides opportunities for student successes, and guides all students intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially."

This office oversees all aspects of curriculum and instruction, local and state assessments, professional learning, instructional data and technology, state and federal grants, the oversight of all instructional personnel, and the District wellness initiative.

  • District Emergency Response Plan

Safety and security are a top priority for the Eastchester School District.  Beginning in 2017, the District hired the Altaris Consulting Group to assist with the revision of safety plans and provide training in emergency management and planning.  Each individual school building has up to date emergency response plans and trains throughout the school year in both proactive and preventative measures to keep all members of the school community safe.

Each year, the new District Emergency Response Plan will be posted for public comment for 30 days before adoption by the Board of Education.  All public comments about the plan should be sent to
