Senior Citizens and School Superintendent Dr. Robert Glass
enjoyed a lively conversation on Dec. 12 when Dr. Glass stopped by the Senior
Nutrition Program at Lake Isle.
The seniors asked questions about Eastchester High School and the programs it provides to students. They also wanted to find out how they can better connect with the District and the many activities that take place throughout the year.
Dr. Glass shared his experiences since he arrived in Eastchester and welcomed the seniors to join the school community.

Parents, grandparents and prospective parents attended Coffee & Conversation with School Superintendent Dr. Robert Glass. The group discussed a variety of topics on Nov. 21 including standards, STEM, curriculum and the emotional wellbeing of the students.
School Board Trustee Vito Catania, K-12 Supervisor of Humanities Susan Chester and Supervisor of Guidance, Kristen Shearer, joined in on the conversation.

Eastchester School Superintendent, Dr. Robert Glass met with community members on Oct. 22, for the first Coffee & Conversation.
Dr. Glass wanted to develop a venue for parents and community members to discuss pertinent topics and ask questions in an informal setting. The first Coffee & Conversation took place at the Barnes & Noble on White Plains Road.
Many topics were discussed, including safety, social and emotional wellness and opportunities for all students to reach their full potential.

Our first Coffee & Conversation will take place on October 22 nd at 10 am at Barnes & Noble in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center on White Plains Road.

OBJECTIVE 3: Identify strengths and opportunities for growth within district programs and operations.

OBJECTIVE 5: Collaborate with the Board of Education to establish norms and protocols.
