Eastchester High School Math Honor Society Induction
Twenty two Eastchester High School students were inducted into the New York State Mathematics Honor Society on November 14, 2017.
The purpose of the Eastchester High School Math Honor Society (MHS) is to recognize student achievement in mathematics and to enhance knowledge, enjoyment and understanding of mathematics. Members promote mathematical leadership by encouraging other students in their study of mathematics, and through service projects, such as tutoring.
To be considered, students must maintain a 90 average in math; 85 average overall; 3 years of high school mathematics course and be currently enrolled in a high school math course.
Students must demonstrate excellent character and agree to participate in all MHS-sponsored activities.
