Greenvale students enjoyed all that fall has to offer when they made apple stamps, sampled cider and donuts, built towers and squares out of pumpkin gummies and sticks, and planted flowers in front of their school building.
“I like arts and crafts,” said second-grader Gianna Flaminio as she added more candies to her creation.
The Greenvale PTA sponsored the Harvest Festival on Friday, October 26th, providing families with an afternoon filled with games and activities. A few mommies even used paper to make their children into mummies.
The more adventurous students walked through a “Haunted House”, a truck decorated with hay, scarecrows and skeletons donated by Nature’s Cradle. There was even a 3D pumpkin project in the computer lab!
The event wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Greenvale PTA President Andy Bellach and former PTA President Lorraine Savarse, Erin Murray, our parent and our middle school volunteers.
