Greenvale students in Regina Dillulio’s class explored the culture, geography and landmarks of different countries and used what they learned to create a Landmark Museum.
They displayed the 3D structures to the community on June 11 and explained what they discovered.
“I wanted to see how the snow melts down the mountains,” said student Leah Lipman who created the Andes Mountains.
Standing next to her was Owen Deades, who took classmates to Argentina with Tren a Las Nubes – The Train to the Clouds. He said he wanted to find out more about the country where his uncle was born.
The students researched the projects, created a Google slide show and sampled foods from different regions before they created the museum. They utilized technology and math and improved their public speaking skills.
