Eleanor Schuster, the middle school librarian, set up a mobile library in the cafeteria for a second year.
Seventh-grader Alexandre d’Epinay enjoyed the opportunity to browse the shelf and tables. “People don’t usually go to the library because it is down the high school hallway. This offers a variety of different books.”
Schuster may get some assistance from her Library Squad to provide just the right selection. The group of students join her during lunch periods at least once a week and traditionally have talked about books, made bookmarks and re-stocked the shelves.
